Sea Island Secrets on PBS Tonight

Sea Island Secrets: A Journey Through Time investigates Indian shell middens, various tools and pottery shards, some of which have been carbon dated to approximately 4,000 years ago. It details archaeological research on prehistoric hunter-gatherers who inhabited the marsh islands of Beaufort County.

The documentary, produced by Mike Hudson and Gibbes McDowell, premiered in February at the Beaufort International Film Festival.

Catch it tonight, Thursday, May 5 at 9 p.m. on local SCETV channels.
