PRESERVING YOUR FAMILY TREASURES WITH GRACE  (Preservation)

Learn basic strategies to extend the life of your paper-based family treasures such as letters, Bibles, certificates and diplomas, memorabilia, and photographic prints with the BDC's certified archivist, Grace Cordial. 


“HEART OF THE HOME:” KITCHEN ARCHAEOLOGY OF MONT REPOSE PLANTATION EXHIBIT
March 16 – June 12, 10 am – 5 pm, M – F | Beaufort District Collection
A collapsed kitchen provides a unique look at  an 18th  century interior Beaufort District rice plantation near Coosawhatchie. Curated by Georgia Southern University’s Dr. Sue Moore and Lilith Logan. Closed April 22 and May 25. Special hours on Sat., April 18, 11 am – 1 pm and Thurs., April 23, 10 am – 6 pm. Co-sponsored by Beaufort Chapter, ASSC.

We're highlighting some of our poetry related resources in the Research Room display case along with including some poems throughout the rest of this month.
