All Beaufort County Library locations, including the Beaufort District Collection, will be closed on Fri., Sept. 2nd due to the inclement weather. The Library will be closed Mon., Sept. 5th for Labor Day. Regular hours will resume on Tues., Sept 6th.
At 4:56pm 9/1/2016 Gary Kubic, Beaufort County Administrator issued this notice:
Due to the inclement weather forecasted, Beaufort County
Administrator Gary Kubic has announced that all County government offices will
be closed on Friday, September 2, 2016, and resume normal operating hours on
Tuesday, September 6, 2016.
Employees working for elected and appointed officials, as
well as all essential public safety employees, should follow the instructions
of their management.
Tropical
Storm Hermine is expected to impact our area Thursday afternoon into
Thursday evening, lasting through the overnight hours into early Friday
afternoon.

County strongly encourages the public to prepare for severe weather and to
monitor the storm on local news media and other information outlets including
