A new fiscal year is nigh - so it's almost time for the next BDC local history program. I love to re-use and supplement research, so I've decided to re-brand - and "color" - a talk that I originally prepared to present before a local women's group. I've nipped and tucked in some sections while expanding it a tad in other sections. I was able to "color" the talk into the Summer Reading Program's theme "Color Our World" because both the United States and France have flags of red, white, and blue and Monroe and Lafayette had a true-blue friendship. I hope to see you at Beaufort Branch soon!
