Archives Month 2009: "Visions of Yesterday, Memories for Tomorrow"

We are celebrating the Archives Month during October. Libraries, museums and archives across the country are planning special exhibits and events to highlight the importance of historical collections…and South Carolina is no exception!

The Beaufort District Collection as the "forever" part of the Beaufort County Library is offering two special events:

"Image Archivist at Work Day" (the sequel), with Lucille Hasell Culp Photographs Project Archivist, Celeste Wiley on Wed., Oct. 7th, 10 am - Noon and again in the afternoon from 2 pm - 4 pm, and,

An exhibit dedicated to photographs preservation in the Beaufort Branch display cabinet from 0ct. 2 through Nov. 2.
