More Heritage Tourism -- and It's Free!
In recognition of the 40th anniversary of the Beaufort Historic District's placement on the National Register of Historic Places on December 17, 1969, Historic Beaufort Foundation will open its Verdier House museum free of charge during the month of December.
Tours of the Verdier House are given Mondays through Saturdays from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm every hour on the half-hour. Visitors to the Verdier House will be able to see the results of ongoing work at the house over the last several years. Call the Verdier House Museum at (843) 379-6335 to ask about the free tours.
