William McIntosh, III will share his book Indians’ Revenge: Including a History of the Yamassee Indian War, 1715 -1728 at our Beaufort Branch Library, on Thursday, May 6th from 5:30 – 6:30 pm. Space is limited. Doors will open for seating at 5:00pm.
Because libraries are about sharing materials to allow a customer to explore topics of interest to them, I created a bookbag inside the SCLENDS catalog on the Yamassee War. We have enough materials available in the Local History check-out sections and in the BDC Research Room to satisfy a brisk interest in this topic. I have also updated "Native Americans" bibliography on the Library's "Recommended Reading" link to include some more recently published works on the Yamassee Indians.
