Research Room Schedule Adjustment Necessary

The BDC Research Room will be open Monday, Oct. 25th, Tuesday, Oct. 26th, and Wednesday, Oct. 27th from 10 am until 5 pm. But on Thursday, Oct. 28th and Friday, Oct. 29th, we will have to close during the middle of the work day in order to comply with Federal labor laws for hourly employees.

BDC Research Room Hours Adjusted Next Week

Thursday, Oct. 28th 10am - 1pm; 2 pm - 5 pm.
The Research Room will be closed 1 pm - 2 pm for lunch.

Friday, Oct. 29th 10 am - Noon; 1 pm - 5 pm.
The Research Room will be closed Noon to 1 pm for lunch.

While we understand that this will be a little inconvenient for our Research Room customers, the law is the law and we must observe it. (If it's any consolation, when it's the salaried exempt employee working alone, the Federal government doesn't care whether or not that staff member gets a work break or lunch.)
