Beaufort County Historical Society, the oldest history related organization in Beaufort County, hosts Kristine Dunn Johnson, author of No Holier Spot of Ground: Confederate Monuments and Cemeteries of South Carolina on Thurs., Nov. 10th. She will also share some of the history of the Beaufort US National Cemetery.The meeting is at Noon in the Beaufort Yacht & Sailing Club on Meridian Road. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend at no charge.
