Penn Center is collaborating with us - twice - to provide supplemental programming for the Smithsonian's Traveling exhibit, New Harmonies on display in Beaufort Branch Library from Dec. 17th, 2011 - Feb. 4th, 2012.
Sunday, December 18th The Nativity Scene 6:30 p.m. at Frissell House at Penn Center, St. Helena Island

Sunday, December 18th The Nativity Scene 6:30 p.m. at Frissell House at Penn Center, St. Helena Island
A re-enactment of the Christmas story with musical renditions of Old English carols sung by members of local choirs. This traditional holiday performance is based on the original "Mystery Play" that was performed at Penn School in the early 1950's.
Sunday January 15th Community Sing 6:30 p.m. at Frissell House at Penn Center, St. Helena Island Local gospel choirs will sing traditional spirituals in a community sing-along.
Please show your support for the Beaufort County Library system by attending at least one program related to the New Harmonies exhibit! Attend one (or both of these programs co-sponsored with Penn Center) if you can. You won't be disappointed.
Drop by when you're downtown and see the wonderful photographs on display in the 2nd floor Gallery. The Photography Club of Beaufort have exceeded even their usual and customary high artistic quality with the photographs on display. They are not to be missed!
