"African American Contributions to Music" lecture by Dan Huff

Dan Huff, musician, and music historian, will offer a presentation on the gospel, jazz, and blues roots of our African American culture which has contributed to our rich American musical heritage.

Tuesday, January 17^th Lecture: “African American Contributions to Music” by Dan Huff 1- 3 p.m. at University of South Carolina Beaufort, Auditorium, 801 Carteret Street

Dan has played in numerous symphonies and orchestras in major cities. He is an accomplished musician and presenter for OLLI on Gullah history and music as well as a dedicated Friends of the Beaufort County Library member and serves on the system's Library Board of Trustees.
