Penn Center continues its long tradition of hosting a "Community Sing," Sunday evening, February 17th beginning at 6:30 PM in Penn Center’s Frissell Community House. Community, visitors and churches all come together to preserve and promote the Gullah cultural tradition of singing Spirituals traditionally sung in Praise Houses and churches on St. Helena Island. Penn Center welcomes all to come for immersion in the spirituality of the Gullah People.
The event is free and open to the public.
