The BDC is required to host at least one local history, genealogy, archaeology, natural history, or culture related program or class at each Branch Library per year. The first BDC sponsored program on the schedule for Beaufort Branch Library is a local author book talk on Tuesday, January 21st. Well known and beloved St. Helena resident Sonny Bishop talks about the book he wrote his daughter:

Reminder: The Library system is closed Mon., Jan. 20th to observe the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday. Regular hours resume Tues., Jan.21st.
