The identity of an heretofore unidentified Confederate soldier interred at the Beaufort National Cemetery is the topic of Penelope Holme Parker's address at the Beaufort County Historical Society's Annual Meeting Thursday, May 16th at the Yacht Club on Meridian Road, on Lady's Island at Noon.
The
Beaufort County Historical Society is the oldest association in Beaufort County
dedicated to the study and preservation of history. A member based
organization, the society was established in 1939.
