Description:  Allen Roberson, Director of the SC Confederate Relic Room & Military Museum will present “Bold Banners: Early Civil War Flags of South Carolina” on Thursday, February 20^th at 3 PM.  The presentation is based upon an exhibition that the Museum displayed in 2011-12.  “Bold Banners” received an Award of Achievement from the South Carolina Federation of Museums for the exhibit and the flag conservation efforts done in partnership with the SC Division of the Sons of Confederate Veterans. Roberson will discuss the Museum’s recent Civil War flag conservation projects, several specific flags from the collection and exhibitions
