Just another reminder that the Final BDC@The Branches Local History Program for 2010 is upon us!

Explore the intersection of law enforcement and culture by joining the Beaufort District Collection for a presentation about the strange cases of legendary Beaufort County lawman, Sheriff Ed McTeer with the author!
In case you don't believe me, here's a podcast from "Radio Free Daufuskie" with author Baynard Woods to convince you that this is one BDC@The Branches program that you just don't want to miss!
A portion of the proceeds from the books sold at the conclusion of Mr. Woods's presentation will go the the Friends of Beaufort County Library, an organization dedicated to raising money to support programs and activities in the Beaufort Branch, Lobeco Branch, St. Helena Branch, and Beaufort District Collection libraries.
If you're looking for the perfect Christmas or birthday gift, consider purchasing a copy (or two, or three) of Coffin Point: The Strange Cases of Sheriff Ed McTeer by Baynard Woods after the presentation and support the Beaufort County Library by supporting the Friends of the Beaufort County Library.
