The Island Packet/Beaufort Gazette ran a story in Thursday's issue about the upcoming Beaufort District Collection program Coffin Point: The Strange Cases of Sheriff Ed McTeer without once mentioning that it's a BDC/Library program! How can this be?
Maybe the reporter was confused by the location of the program.
Here's why we're holding this particular BDC @ The Branches local history program in County Council Chambers:
1) It's easier for the County Channel to record the program; and,
2) there simply wasn't room in the 311 Scott Street Building to hold the session BECAUSE ...
The Beaufort Railroaders are making their annual visit to Beaufort Branch Library, Dec. 14th - Dec. 18th. Model trains will be set up in the Children's Programming Room and in the old "South Carolina Room" on the first floor. The trains will be available for viewing at the following times:
Tuesday, December 14: 10 AM to 6 PM
Wednesday, December 15: 10 AM to 6 PM
Thursday, December 16: 10 AM to 6 PM
Friday, December 15: 10 AM to 5 PM
Saturday, December 16: 10 AM to 5 PM
