Our 2010 Beaufort District Collection program schedule relating to the history, culture, and environment of Beaufort District continues on Friday, April 16th. Local resident, William McIntosh, III will share his book Indians’ Revenge: Including a History of the Yemassee Indian War, 1715 -1728 at our Lobeco Branch, on Friday, April 16th from 4:00 – 5:00 pm.
McIntosh has studied the vortex of European and Native American culture clash that resulted in a little remembered but crucial colonial era war. The program is free and open for anyone aged 12 years and over.
